Game launcher for Steam Deck
Push code.
Press play.
PushPlay puts games from GitHub on your Steam Deck. Push a change, and it’s waiting in Gaming Mode the next time you pick it up.
One command to install. Updates itself.
How it works
From zero to playing in about two minutes
Install once
One command in Desktop Mode downloads PushPlay and adds it to Steam, artwork and all.
Add games
Point it at a GitHub repo, a folder, a .zip or a link. Sign in by scanning a QR code with your phone, so there’s no typing on the Deck.
Press play
Launch PushPlay from Gaming Mode. Games and updates show up on their own, and never mid-game.
What you get
A home for the games you and your friends make
Updates when you push
Watch a repo and every push builds, checks and lands on your Deck automatically.
Built for a controller
Every screen works with the d-pad and A/B. Hold Start + Select in any web game for a pause menu.
Web games and Linux builds
Anything with an index.html plays as a web game. Godot exports, ELF binaries and AppImages run natively.
Lives in Steam
Shows up in your library with proper artwork and updates itself in place.
Ask an AI for a game
The games template teaches Claude Code, Codex and other agents how to make a game, check it and ship it.
Your repos, public or private
Games stay in your own GitHub. Private repos work too; nothing is uploaded anywhere else.
For creators
Ask for a game. Play it on your Deck.
Start from the games template, then tell your coding agent what you want. It scaffolds the game, writes it, draws the cover art, checks it at Steam Deck size and pushes. GitHub Actions builds it, and PushPlay picks it up.
